SHRAM SATHI
About This Project
An initiative I launched to address the gap between government welfare policies and their implementation for informal workers in India. Recognizing the lack of awareness about schemes such as the e-shram card, I organized registration camps across various locations, including condominiums in Gurgaon and factories in Tamil Nadu. These efforts have enabled hundreds of workers to access essential government benefits.

What is the E-Shram Card?

Overview
The e-shram card is part of a national initiative by the Government of India to create a centralized database of unorganized workers.

Benefits
Workers registered for the e-shram card are eligible for a range of welfare schemes and social security benefits, including:
-
Accidental insurance coverage of up to ₹2 lakh
-
Pension schemes for future financial security
-
Access to financial assistance in case of emergencies or health crises
-
Eligibility for government welfare programs such as housing and education assistance
-
Enhanced access to employment opportunities through government initiatives

Aim
The e-shram card aims to ensure that informal workers, such as laborers and domestic workers, are part of the formal economy, gaining access to essential resources and improving their overall social and economic well-being.
E-Shram Registration Camps
I conducted e-shram registration camps in condominiums in Gurugram and factories in Salem, Tamil Nadu
