The Perception of Working Women on Women's Empowerment
My research paper investigates the perspectives of women in India’s corporate sector regarding empowerment initiatives. Through a survey of 32 women from diverse regions, I aimed to assess the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in promoting empowerment. Although many participants were aware of these initiatives, fewer reported experiencing personal benefits. The findings reveal significant challenges faced by women, including societal norms and a lack of mentorship. The paper advocates for organizations to implement more meaningful and comprehensive strategies. It underscores that genuine empowerment necessitates a steadfast commitment to leadership diversity, equitable compensation, and a balanced work-life environment to foster an inclusive culture where women can excel.
